How to sync Outlook calendar to Google calendar

How to sync Google Calendar with Outlook 2010/2013/2016

Today, we are going to demo on how to sync Google Calendar with Outlook 2016 using EVO Collaborator for Outlook (aka ECO). This software is able to synchronize Google Calendar with Outlook 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016 in both ways.

 

Steps for synchronizing Google Calendar to Outlook calendar 2016 are as below:

  1. Browse to EVO Collaborator for Outlook’s Product page and  Download page
  2. Click on EVO Collaborator for Outlook 32 and 64 bit English to start downloading
  3. Run the downloaded executable file and complete installation
  4. Start Outlook 2013/2016
  5. Click on EVO ribbon at top menu and click on Configure Profile(s)
  6. ECO has detected your existing Gmail account and filled in the Full e-mail address or Username for you
  7. Click on TEST button at bottom to proceed Google OAuth
  8. Once authenticated, Address book, Calendar and Tasks URLs  are filled in upon auto-discovery
  9. Click on Apply and Quit buttons to quit Configure Profile(s) window
  10. ECO will auto-start a synchronization for the first time
  11. To check sync result, open your Google Contacts on browser
  12. Compare between Google Contacts and Gmail contacts folder on Outlook
  13. Open your Google Tasks on browser
  14. Compare between Google Tasks and Gmail tasks folder on Outlook
  15. Open your Google Calendar on browser
  16. Compare between Google Calendar and Gmail calendars folder on Outlook
  17. Create a Google Calendar appointment on browser
  18. ECO’s GoogleCalendar Push Notification will immediately reflect result in Gmail calendars folder on Outlook
  19. Try deleting an appointment in Gmail calendars folder on Outlook
  20. ECO will immediately initiate a sync session and reflect changes back to Google Calendar
  21. Check back on browser, the deleted item also disappears on Google Calendar

Not only Google Calendar can be synced, but also many other CardDAV and CalDAV services of cloud and on-premises  services on the market, such as iCloud, Yahoo!, AOL, Axigen, and etc. For a compatibility list, please refer to EVO’s website for detail.
